Registration

All persons who wish to file any sort of application with the Texas Board of Law Examiners to the Bar must first create a personal Texas Board of Law Examiners Registration account on this website. Please fill out the registration form below.

Personal Information

Enter your full legal name. NOTE: Enter your full legal name as shown on your government issued driver's license, passport, or comparable government issued I.D.
First Name:	You must supply your First Name. First Name must be less than 64 char.
	N/A - I do not have a First Name.
Middle Name:	You must supply your Middle Name. Middle Name must be less than 64 char.
	N/A - I do not have a Middle Name.
Last Name:	You must supply your Last Name. Last Name must be less than 64 char.
Suffix:	Examples of potentially acceptable suffixes are: Jr., II, III, IV, etc. Do not enter “Mr.”, “Ms.”, “Mrs.”, “Esq.”, “J.D.”, any other degree abbreviation, or your maiden last name in this field. Suffix must be less than 12 char. Suffix must be alphanumeric characters.
Social Security Number:	ssn1 ssn2 ssn3 Furnishing your SSN is voluntary pursuant to the Federal Privacy Act of 1974. The last 4 digits of your SSN will be used to expedite the Board's investigation and to avoid errors of identity. In addition, providing the last 4 digits of your SSN will facilitate your online registration with the State Bar of Texas. If you do not have a social security number, you must check the box indicating that you do not have a social security number. no_ssn I don't have a social security number, or do not wish to provide any part of it.
Date of Birth: Month Day Year	This is not a valid Date of Birth.
Place of Birth:	You must supply your place of birth.
