September 1 is the timely filing deadline for the February 2020 Bar Exam


The February 2020 Bar Exam will be administered February 25-27, at the Palmer Events Center in Austin, Texas.

 

  • Timely Filing Deadline: September 1, 2019.
  • Late Filing Deadline ($150 late fee): November 1, 2019.
  • Final Filing Deadline: ($300 late fee): December 1, 2019.


Special Filing Deadline* for applicants awaiting results from the July 2019 Texas Bar Exam: December 1, 2019. (No late fee.) 

 

Please note that different filing deadlines apply to Applications for Testing Accommodations. See Deadlines, and message your Licensure Analyst with any questions.

*Note: If you applied for the July 2018 Texas Bar Exam but you withdrew from the exam, did not sit for exam, or did not sit for each segment of the exam, then you must adhere to the Timely Filing Deadline, the Late Filing Deadline, and the Final Filing Deadline--the Special Filing Deadline does not apply to you.

**If you applied for the most recent Texas Bar Exam but you withdrew from the exam, did not sit for exam, or did not sit for each segment of the exam, then the Special Filing Deadline does not apply to you. The Special Filing Deadline only applies to applicants who are awaiting results from the most recent Texas Bar Exam.
